Social Media for Wineries Redux

by Tim Elliott on August 11, 2008

A somewhat concentrated version of the seminars I presented in Napa and Sonoma in April but fully updated with more discussion of case studies.

Join me at Green’s Restaurant, Bldg A of Ft. Mason Center in San Francisco at 10:30 am on August 25th for the discussion before the Family Winemakers trade tasting.

Tim,
I was not able to be at the restaurant and I didn’t see you at the winetasting, so I didn’t get to ask for a copy of the presntation you made. I am specifically interested in the case studies you added from last time.
Thanks,
Cheryl

Hi Cheryl,

I didn’t speak from a Powerpoint as before; it was more of a discussion I led from an outline. I will record a quick podcast later in the week covering the main points and adding the new case studies.

I spoke about both the Twitter Taste Live event and the Rodney Strong Rockaway blogger sampling campaign. Since Jeff from Twisted Oak was in the room, I asked him to describe what he has been up to, as well. Other participants talked about some of their social media experiences. Overall, I thought it was a very good session and well attended.
